Abyss of Kings
A game developed over 48 hours for the Jan 2022 Global Game Jam.
The theme was ‘Duality’.
Made in a team of two programmers and three artists, in Unity.
Movement controls two characters, navigate them through different puzzles and reach the goal at the same time.
Contribution
Level generator script - levels are generated from a string, allowing for fast iteration.
Tweening polish for entity movement and level elements appearing.
Game flow: level select, transition between levels, restarting levels.
Sound effects: Selection and implementation.
Animation and Particle Effect implementation.
Camera and board transforms can be set uniquely for each level, allowing us to create interesting perspectives.
