Prototypes
Within a small team we developed three prototypes over eight weeks, using Unity.
Our team had three artists and two programmers, and we worked in a very iterative process, nailing down the minimum playable prototype, and then playtesting and improving the product.
These prototypes taught me a lot about streamlining my process of creating mechanics and stripping out any unnecessary steps.
Tiny Track Racers
Implemented car movement and steering physics.
Added checkpoints and respawning after going out-of-bounds.
Implemented and iterated on player camera.
Player animation blend tree.
Earth
Tile targeting, raising and pushing chunks,
Toad boss behaviours.
Toad boss animator.
Roller Blade
Created player controller.
Player animator setup and gameplay incorporation.
Grinding mechanic.
